Baileys Irish Cream is part of the essence of winter coziness. Add this to a drink, sit down by the fire with a friend, and you have a lovely evening ahead of you. And if you need a gift basket idea, this recipe is so easy to make, you’ll have plenty for your friends AND yourself.
This recipe came from a blog called Cupcake Project. Go check them out if you like cupcakes. (We’ve had enough cupcakes to last a lifetime, but there’s nothing wrong with cupcake lovers, either.)
Blend all of the below ingredients in a blender set on high speed for 30 seconds.
Bottle in tightly sealed containers and refrigerate. Shake before using.
These will keep for up to 2 months.
- 1 C light cream
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 1 2/3 C Irish whiskey
- 1 t instant coffee
- 2 T chocolate syrup
- 1 t vanilla (we used homemade, which is also super simple to make)
- 1 t almond extract (if you’d like; but not if your friends are allergic to nuts!)
